#60 Normal

For many of us, our understanding of "normal" was shaped during our youth as we sought to please others and feel safe in our environment. For me, normal meant being in survival mode day and night for many years. It took reaching a point of exhaustion for me to pause and reflect on whether I contributed to the problem and where my concept of normalcy originated from. This journey of self-reflection is one that can inspire us all.

In this episode, I dive into my experiences of normalizing toxic relationships, health issues, and negative self-perceptions. I urge you to join me in examining what you might accept as normal and consciously work towards normalizing stability, self-care, and empowerment.

Show Notes:

Examine what you normalize in your life and how it may impact you.

Consider if you are normalizing toxic relationships, health issues, or negative beliefs about yourself.

Make a conscious effort to shift towards normalizing stability, self-care, and empowerment.

Set boundaries and hold them, even if it feels uncomfortable at first.

Remember that you are valuable and deserving of love and happiness.
